IFrom the time her mom taught her how to cast on, Jelena knew art would be a part of her life. She remembers her first gift -- a scarf she knit her dad when she was five. (He showed it off proudly despite the dropped and uneven stitches.) She drew cartoons sitting in front of the TV,  learned to crochet (thanks to her grade 6 teacher), and loved art classes. Nature and upcycling feature in her crafts. She looks forward to travelling again, leaving a trail of handmade hearts along the way.
